Course Registration Schedule for 2nd semester of 2023 academic year

1. Course registration period: 8. 17. ( Thu ) ~ 8. 23.( Wed ) 10:00-22:59 / Weekend - excluding holidays

2. Course change and confirmation period: 8. 28. ( Mon ) 08:00 ~ 9. 2. ( Sat ) 22:59

However, 8. 30.( Wed ) 17:00 ~ 8. 31. ( Thu ) 07:59 Course application is not possible

Closing date : 9. 4. ( Mon ) / Registration for additional students in the closed class : 9. 5. ( Tue ) 10:00 ~ 22:59

3. Course Application Procedure

1) New students

After paying tuition → School website (http://www.skku.edu) → Kingo ID LOGIN → After accessing / registering, apply for the course on the course application website (http://sugang.skku.edu) (After registration, register as Sungkyun-in with the examination number → You can check your academic number)

2) Current students

Access the shortcut homepage (http://sugang.skku.edu) and register for the course

3) Application procedure

Check syllabus: Kingo ID LOGIN → GLS → Class area → Electronic timetable → General graduate courses → Search for academic year / host university / department → Click on the course number → Pop-up syllabus ※ Click on the course name → Pop-up course overview

Check courses taken/acquired: GLS → Academic/Personal Area → Graduation Self-Diagnosis → Check the status of meeting graduation requirements → Print courses taken/acquired

 

4. Notes on course application

1) Course Application, Prerequisites, Credits

- When applying for a course, you can choose to take the course or apply for prerequisites.

- For major courses, please click "Enroll".

- However, for "Thesis Writing and Research Ethics 1", please click "Apply for Prerequisites".

Prerequisite credits are not limited to the maximum number of credits per semester.

ex) Masters: Major courses (9 credits) + Thesis Writing and Research Ethics 1 (1 credit) = 9 total credits

ex) Doctoral: 12 (or 9) credits of major subjects + 1 (1 credit) of thesis writing and research ethics = 12 (or 9) credits in total.

2) Completion of thesis writing and research ethics course

- From the 2016 academic year onwards, freshmen are required to complete the prerequisite course "Thesis Writing and Research Ethics 1" for 1 credit.

(Students who were unable to take the course last semester or failed the course must take it this semester).

- Prerequisites need to be completed only once during your enrollment.

* Failure to complete the prerequisites will result in course failure or ineligibility for thesis defense.

- 2016 ~ 2019: Failure to complete the course will result in failure of the thesis.

- 2020 and later: If you do not complete the course, you cannot apply for the main examination.

3) Check the remarks column on the course application screen

Please check the division of series/class (vacancy, etc.) in the remarks column before applying.
