Major examination

 For   M.S. degree: 

 Students who have taken 15 credits or more

 For   Ph.D. degree: 

 Students who have taken 27 credits or more

 For   M.S.-Ph.D integrated course : 

 Students who have taken 39 credits or more
 

* Students with   GPA above B after acquisition

*  Students who have taken safety educations every semester



 Foreign language (English) test

 Official English proficiency test score valid for 2 years )

* Passing Criteria: 70 points or more out of 100 points

* Exemption Criteria:

 

   Even if you are eligible to apply for a foreign language test exemption, you must apply for an off-line foreign language exemption separately during the application period!

   Foreign language test exemption application procedure: After applying for a foreign language test at GLS, the student applying for an exemption fills out [Application for Foreign Language Test Exemption (Appendix No. 2)] and submits it to the administration office along with the relevant authorized score report

 

* How to apply

- Students who wish to take the foreign language test must apply directly at GLS within the deadline.

   It is conducted once every semester. If you fail the exam, you must retake the exam in the next semester.

- Kingo ID LOGIN → GLS → Application / Qualification Management → Test Application → Paper Submission Qualification Examination / Waiver Application → 1st Foreign Language Course    

 

 

   Major exam

 

1. Subjects to be taken: 1 subject among common required courses (      2 subjects until 2013. 2nd semester)

2. Passing Criteria: 70 points or more out of 100 points

3. Qualifications to take the test

- Applicants who have obtained at least the credits specified below for each degree program and have an average grade of B or higher

   Master’s program: Applicants who have acquired 15 credits or more (normally taken in the 3rd semester)

   Doctoral program: Applicants who have acquired more than 27 credits (normally taken in the 4th semester)       Please take the QE test

   Integrated course: Applicants who have acquired more than 39 credits (normally taken in the 6th semester)       Please take the QE test

- Applicants who submitted a safety education certificate every semester during the period

   You must take the exam once every semester from March 2021 to the final exam after admission

 

4. How to apply

- Applicants to take the major test must apply directly at GLS within the deadline and take the test.

   It is conducted once every semester. If you fail the exam, you must retake the exam in the next semester.

- Those who do not pass the major exam may retake the exam in the next semester for the failed subject.
