Research Interest
Our lab focuses on studying molecular mechanisms underlying survival of Salmonella, a Gram (-) pathogen, inside host cells.
1. Iron regulation of Salmonella virulence.
2. Identification of novel functions of Salmonella virulence proteins.
3. Molecular mechanisms of formation of Salmonella biofilm in response to metal signals.
