Proxomity to urban natural environment has been associated with improved cardiovascular health, however, few studies have examined the role of social determinants of health in these associations. In this longitudinal study, we observed that shorter distance to a river and greater green space cover were associated with better cardiovascular health particularly among people with greater social disadvantages.
